Resilience

On a pleasant Tuesday night, I met two inspiring ladies and had open conversation with them about life recently.

Amy is 38 years old and has been clinically diagnosed as blind for about 30 years and has two autistic kids. Currently, she is running a consulting business while studying Chinese medicine. She is happiest person to have her adorable kids who opened a new chapter of her life.

Julie is 67 years old and before Julie settled down in Australia from Malaysia, she moved to New Zealand with four kids a few decades ago and made her way to be where she is now. She has run a few businesses throughout her life, and now she is running a consulting business.

We all agreed that “if we have something special that others don’t have, it is because of our hardships and unfortunate situation that we went through. We are grateful for that, so we become resilient”
